Yan Gallery was established in 2001 by Fong Yuk Yan.  Mr Fong has over twenty years experience in dealing with contemporary Chinese art.  In the early 1980s he was one of the founders of L & F Gallery in Hong Kong and in 1991 he co-founded Yi Hua Lang (Zee Stone Gallery), which he directed and co-owned until 2001.  In 2007 Yan Gallery moved from Wyndham Street to a spacious 3,000 sq ft. location on Lyndhurst Terrace where they can be found today.

Yan Gallery is committed to promoting the works of both established and emerging Chinese artists. The gallery exclusively represents a prestigious group of artists, such as Wu Guanzhong, Yang Gang, Hu Yongkai, Bob Yan, Liu Kun, Chu Hung, Fang Xiang and Liang Liqiang amongst others.
